This 1/2 day introductory lean class teaches participants about basic lean concepts and tools.  Participants then apply these to a simulated factory (building flashlights) to remove waste and improve efficiency.  Lean 'Light' is a shortened and lighter version of Lean 101.

5S: Organizing Your Workspace

This class teaches the popular 5S approach to organizing workspaces. Students will learn the 5-step process for organizing a workspace from sorting through unneeded items to creating visual controls and creating a sustainment plan to maintain their improvements.
